Our Team

  • Gál Márk

Meet Mark, the video editor who turns deadlines into lifelines. When the clock is ticking, he is just warming up, transforming pressure into creative magic. His dedication to detail is uncompromising—so much so that it might occasionally border on obsession.

Trust me, it's too much sometimes. He loves a good constructive debate and is also known for asking those "just-to-be-sure" questions, even about things that seem obvious, ensuring everyone is on the same page. It’s not about being perfect; it’s about making sure the team knows exactly what they’re doing.. But that's just part of his charm.

Mark doesn't just settle for good, he aims for something different, every single time.

  • Nagy László

László is a cinematographer and art director at Rawmatik. He started learning about filmmaking at Babeș-Bolyai University but he also picked up a lot of knowledge from YouTube and by working with people who are more experienced than he.

He is really passionate about extreme sports and that's what first got he interested in filmmaking. Looking back, he was the kid who always had a camera with him, filming the local extreme riders. He had an old shitty Nikon, but now we like to think it was a Red camera in spirit!

What he loves most about cinematography is that it's both scientific and artisanal. That's what made him decide to go this way. He is also a big fan of analog techniques and shoot a lot on 35mm film. Analog photography has learned him to slow down, observe, and really think about what he is capturing instead of just shooting without thinking. He belives this approach helps him create visuals that are clear and make sense for the project. That's always his goal.

As Roger Deakins said: "The biggest challenge of any cinematographer is making the imagery fit together of a piece: that the whole film has a unity to it, and actually, that a shot doesn't stand out.".

Laci thinks a good cinematographer knows how to work with different styles and understands what kind of visual approach fits the story. He wouldn't say he has a particular style, and he doesn't try to have one. He wouldn't want to be limited to a single visual language. He always likes to try something new. Vimeo's Staff Picks had a big influence on his visuals and he often takes inspiration from them.

  • Pogonyi Hunor

Art Director and Editor at Rawmatik, gamer boy, extreme sport lover and always available for a good funky/techno party.

Hunor graduated Cinematography at UBB in Cluj. It all started with filming his friends, making videos of them doing scooter tricks. He grew up with his skis and scooter, always learning new tricks, being very passionate about these sports.

His work has been his priority since forever. He claims that filming or editing needs to be done perfectly or not at all. It’s really fun working with him because of his creative ideas.

Another fun fact about him is that he’s always quiet but has an enthralling/ fascinating mindset.

“Beware the quiet man. For while others speak, he watches. And while others act, he plans. And when they finally rest… he strikes”
